1.

Title of the technology: Improvement of Lentil-Jute-T. Aman cropping pattern using mordern cultivars and management practices.

Year of innovation: 2008

2.

Indroduction: From 2005 to 2007, improvement of Lentil-Jute-T. Aman cropping pattern and applicability of this technology were verified by incorporating improved varieties and management in Faridpur region. b) When pulse crops are introduced, the soil becomes more fertile, which also benefits the farmer financially.

c) Increases crop intensity and productivity.

d) BCR of lentil, jute and T. Aman in improved cropping pattern was found to be 1.53, 2.26 and 1.39 respectively which was 1.34, 2.13 and 1.34 respectively in farmer's own cropping management.
