description of the technology: Sowing Date: 30 March- 30 April. Life span: 120-130 Seed rate: Line sowing: 6.5- 7.5 kg/ha. Broadcasting: 7.5-8 kg/ha. Fertilizer dose: Dose and method given by BJRI. Irrigation: As per needed. Weed Control: Weeds should be controlled at 20-25 days and 40-45
days after sowing. Yield: Fibre: 2.25-2.5 t/ha. |

and role for livelihood development: Due to the good yield, quality and market price of the fiber, this
