Brief description of the technology: Sowing time: 15th March-15th May Seed rate (Kg/ha):18-20 Kg\ha in line sowing 22-25 Kg/ha in Boardcasting Life span: 120-150 days Fertilizer dose: Dose and method given by BJRI. Irrigation: As per needed. Weed Control: Weeds should be controlled at 20-25 days and 40-45 days after sowing. Yield: 2.50-2.80 ton/ha. |

Suitability of the Technology: Suitable for growing all over the country. This variety is relatively drought tolerant, nematode resistant, spineless and disease free. |

Benefit of the Technology: Farmers can make profit by growing mesta crop in drought prone marginal lands and fallow lands of char areas with minimum input and management. |
